Off track: week one

Aidan is off track from school for three weeks. This is both a relief and a nightmare at the same time. We have lots and lots of fun but Aidan gets bored really really fast! So, week one off track we have now been to Jumping Jacks, the Draper Temple open house, and the Sportsman's Expo. Here are some pics from the expo:

Face Painting

Archery

CUTE black bears! I want one!

Fishing

FLY fishing

Four Wheeling

Needless to say we all went home exhausted! But we had a lot of fun!

We also went to the Draper Temple Open House with some friends Saturday night. We had a great time and the kids got to see a new temple. Then we went out to dinner at one of my most favorite restaurants: The Training Table. Mmmmm....

What will this week have in store?

Blessed in all things

"Consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual..." Mosiah 2:41

The photography challenge for March is to link a photograph to words. Some friends of mine decided they were going to read the Book of Mormon in the month of February. I was very impressed with this and decided to take this challenge myself and I did it!!! I have to say that because I did this, I enjoyed the Book of Mormon like I had never enjoyed it before. When you read for a couple hours a day in the Book of Mormon for some reason you remember the people and situations so much more. I learned more than I have ever learned before and I am excited to read it again and again! This scripture is the quote that I want to associate with my picture. I love this scripture. It has always been one of my favorites. My family has been so blessed with so many things lately and we are enjoying life so much. So, I challenge all of you to read the Book of Mormon. I loved it!

our VIP

Aidan is VIP this week at school. He was SO excited! I got to go and his whole class and teacher talked about him and how great he was. He was just beaming. We took his favorite stuffed animal and book and a treat to share. I just have to share that I ADORE his teacher. She is incredible. Hopefully you upcoming first graders will be lucky enough to have her!

We love our VIP Aidan!
