One of my New Year's Resolutions is to take my camera with me as much as possible. Last week I pulled up to the Oquirrh Temple. I was by myself and I took my camera. It was so foggy that I couldn't even see the top of the temple in the parking lot! I pulled into a parking spot and right in front of me were these beautiful leaves on the trees with frost on them. It was perfect light for picture-taking so I took advantage! I hope to find more picture-taking opportunities this year!

This past year has been an interesting one for me and my family. It has been full of hefty challenges and amazing triumphs. I have learned what is really important in life and what really doesn't matter. I have been grateful more than ever for the amazing husband I was lucky enough to marry. I have an adorable son who I am grateful keeps me on my toes and has the most tender heart. I have been reminded over and over what amazing friends I am blessed to have and that they have done (and continue to do) so many incredible things for me! The temple has become more important to me than it ever has before. I have learned that apparently I think I need a thousands sweaters and lots of shoes. I am excited for a new year and what it will bring! I hope to be a better person this year among many other goals. I hope your new year is wonderful!
