what are you doing new years eve...

We had such a fun New Year's Eve weekend. We celebrated with lots of friends Friday night and stayed up WAAAYYY too late! We watched movies, ate treats and did sparklers with my boys Saturday night. I am grateful that we were able to start the New Year off by going to church. We have the best ward! I have been thinking this weekend about the goals I want to make for myself for the new year and what we talked about today at church will help so much with that. A lot of the focus Sunday was on becoming more spiritually fit in our lives this year. Our wonderful President Monson did a perfect article in this month's Ensign. Everything he talked about in this article are things I feel like I really need to work on. It is worth a good read!

We had a great year in 2011! We always have our wonderful days and our challenges but I am so grateful that I have my boys to snuggle with every day. I get to spend another holiday with Mike, who I adore and am forever thankful for. I have so many amazing friends that are always there for me to lift me up. I am excited for a great new year!

I must say that I agree about the great ward that you are in! :)

We have a great ward here but we still miss being in West Jordan and all of the wonderful people there.

As for us old fogies, we were probably in bed when you were up late partying with your sparklers and fireworks. That's what happens when you turn 40. hahaha!!!
